not my best pause face, but still pretty decent
there’s a man turning into a plant turd on the television right now
Meeeeeeenahhhhhh
I’m seriously getting insanely excited for the ancestors/alpha trolls to be revealed
(excuse me for not using the A1/A2/B1/B2 jargon ‘cause frankly I don’t understand it)

Viendras-tu, oh, viendras-tu
Me retrouver au grand arbre
Porter un long collier de chanvre à mes côtés.
Des choses étranges s’y sont vues
Et moi, j’aurais tant aimé
Te revoir à minuit à l’arbre du pendu
Wings stir the sunlit dust
of the cathedral in which
the Past is buried
to its chin in marble.UPDATE: Fixed the colors! :D Reblogging anew for the afternoon-evening crowd.
And so we come to the sixth (!) and final piece in the troll girl painting series. This one took forever to complete due to the fact that it has an actual background, instead of abstract shapes. Needless to say, I’m a bit sick of trees and statues right now. @__@;
I tried my best to make the colors in this scan match those of the original, but everything came out either too red or too blue. I’ll keep trying nonetheless; expect a better version in the near future. I’m worried that this painting looks more like one of Redglare due to TZ’s more, erm, mature attributes. -__-;
Terezi didn’t interest me much when I first started reading the comic, but I now count her as one of my favorite characters out of the whole cast.
Pencils, watercolors, gold watercolor pigments, silver Speedball ink, and Copic markers on hot press paper.

how you can tell you’re watching American Ninja Warrior:
- there’s no really enthusiastic commentator narrating every last thing the contestant is doing
- the course looks easier (and is missing the finally rope climb before the end)
- the contestants are hoping to get the fastest time, not hoping to just get through the course
- there is no time limit
- at the end, contestants that have successfully reached the end of the stage tear their shirts off in a cocky, bragging way
- contestants that fail are not comforted by other contestants who are rooting for them simply because they share the same goal
- the contestants weights are apparently an important factor on whether or not they’ll have a chance at success
- Mount Midoriyama is on the other side of the world
Edit:
- none of the contestants have real jobs. they spend all their time working out, playing sports, and replicating the course in their apartments
- commentators feel the need to pick apart contestants’ appearances in a joking, yet jeering manner
actually i just feel bad for the people who followed me for specific things because i tend to post the most about Homestuck and K dramas (sorry WoW followers, but you’re shit out of luck)
